Biography Highlight

Zhang Yesui, male, Han nationality, is a native of Tianmen City, Hubei Province. He was born in 1953, and graduated from the Beijing Foreign Studies University. He studied at the London School of Economics from 1975 to 1976 and served as vice-minister of Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2008. From 2008-2010 he was China's Ambassador to the United Nations and in 2010 he became China's Ambassador to the United States.
