Wang Rulin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Puyang, Henan province. He joined the CPC in 1973, and earned a master's degree in economics from Jilin University. Wang held leading positions in Jilin province, where he served as a member of the standing committee of the Jilin CPC committee until 2004. He was named governor of Jilin province in 2010 and is also an alternate member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
