Li Wei, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1958, entered the work force in 1975, and graduated from Department of Chinese Literature of Nanjing University with a Bachelor Degree in 1982. From 2008 to 2010, He was Deputy Secretary General of CPC Central Committee Publicity Department, Executive Vice Dean of All-China Publicity Cadres College. In September 2010, he was appointed as deputy director of the State Administration of Radio Film and Television.
