Biography

Jiang Yikang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhaoyuan City, Shandong province. He was born in 1953, entered the work force in 1969, and joined the CPC in 1970. He graduated from Zhongnan Technology University with a Master Degree in 1995. He served as deputy secretary of the Chongqing Municipal CPC Committee from 2002 to 2006, and he was appointed vice-president of the China National School of Administration in 2006.

Jiang was an alternate member of the 16th CPC Central Committee and is now a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee. In 2008, he became Secretary of the Shandong CPC Provincial Committee and in 2009, he became the director of provincial people's congress Standing Committee of Shandong Province.
